Celine Scene is the creative practice of Yasmin Celine Grant. I direct campaigns from the first reference through to the final frame. Concept, art direction, and the brand presence that has to carry on afterwards.

I am not interested in work that is only pleasant to look at. Polish is easy, and polish fades. What holds you isimperfection.Skin, weather, grain, the second someone forgets they are being watched.People and nature are both unreliable.That is exactly why they are worth pointing a camera at. Every campaign I make begins inside somebody’s real life. The founder’s, the artist’s, the person who actually made the object.Refine that story properly and you almost never need to invent one.

Ideas built to move across every surface at once. Film, stills, and the words that sit around them. Usually there is a story and an object at the centre.

Ongoing direction and management for brands that want a presence rather than a feed to fill.
I’d rather it be felt than understood.

Most work asks to be read. The work I’m interested in registers first and explains itself second. An image you can’t quite place but don’t scroll past either.
